PIR Postpones Opening Night Due to Cold Temperatures

PIR Postpones Opening Night due to Cold Temperatures!

Paducah International Raceway has been monitoring this extremely cold weather closely and has decided it would be in the best interest of our loyal fans and drivers to postpone the Opening Night events scheduled for Friday March 22nd. Track management has agreed the bitter cold temperatures and the precipitation chances would make it very difficult on the cars, drivers, fans and the track.
Opening Night racing for PIR will be Friday March 29th for the biggest race in Paducah history, the NDRL “Let’s Get Dirty 75”, a Super Late Model event that is $20,000 to win. With the Modifieds competing for a $2000 to win purse. Cody McCarver will be performing Pre and Post race concerts making this a night of historic epic proportion with the biggest names in dirt racing from across the country scheduled to attend! The atmosphere will be electric as well as the action!
Paducah International Raceway is a 3/8 mile high banked dirt oval providing exciting wheel to wheel racing action every Friday Night. With events such as World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, Lucas Oil Late Models, UMP Summer Nationals and the famed USA World 50. There is always something New and Exciting happening at PIR!
