(Paducah,KY) Racing action will be red hot this Friday night, June 28th as the Dirt Warriors on the Dirtcar UMP Summer Nationals Tour make a stop at the lightning fast 3/8th mile dirt oval, Puducah International Raceway for the third annual “Chris Smith Memorial”! Drivers from around the country have been doing battle on the circuit dubbed “The Hell Tour” for it’s grueling 31 race in 39 day schedule. The event at P.I.R. will be race number 13, as the Championship series plays out. Expect to see last year’s winner Brian Birkhofer from Muscatine, IA attempt to defend his title in the $10,000 to win event. In addition, 2012 Summer Nationals Champion Brian ”The Squirrel” Shirley from Chatham,Il is expected to compete along with current points leader, Illinois standout Brandon Sheppard and the rest of the UMP Super Late Model dirt pilots of the Summer Nationals Tour.
Also, see the UMP Modified division compete for $1000 to win along with a full night’s racing schedule with support divisions to be announced.

Pit gates open at 2pm with grandstands opening at 5pm. Hot Laps begin at 6:30 with dirt slinging racing action starting at 7:30!
